Sheet Music+Chords August 8, 2011

Hi everyone! As you probably know, I play piano. I like to sing while I play piano. When I sing and play piano, I play chords. When I just play the song, I do it with sheet music. I have found two awesome websites to make that very easy and get it for free!

1st website: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/

On this website you can pick any song you like, then get the chords to it very easily. You can print it out. Also, say your a beginner, so you want it to be easy. There are many different versions of the song with the chords! You get to pick which one you think it best for YOU! Also: in the name its Ultimate GUITAR. Chords are always the same. You can play those chords on the piano too, and it works out fine.

2nd Website: http://classpiano.com/

This website, I only found recently. 2 days ago to be exact. This website gives you printable, free SHEET MUSIC!!! Totally awesome!!! They change the songs every few days, so it’s never the same thing. You can also watch a video tutorial to get the hang of it!!!

Well, that’s all for now!!! Definitely check out those websites!!!

Fun Fact: A long time ago I posted a video of me singing “Crazier” by Taylor Swift, at my talent show. I sang to it and played piano. I used chords from ULTIMATE-GUITAR.COM and then added my own little rhythms, and look how great it came out!!!

Hereafter

Hey! Watched a movie last night!

Hereafter

Rated: PG-13

About 3 different people/families that are all so different, and they come together at the end. It’s about what happens after you pass away.

One of the reasons I LOVED this movie, is because Steven Spielburgh did the special effects at the beginning! Great!!!

Watch this movie!!!

Mars Attacks! And The Haunting In Connecticut August 1, 2011

Mars Attacks!

Rated: PG-13

Comedy

Great movie! This movie is about aliens from Mars that suddenly come to Earth and try to conquer the human species.

This movie is a little old, I think it’s from ’96.

It’s a Tim Burton classic. The very funny thing about it, is that many celebrity’s are in that movie, but most of them weren’t really known or famous, so it’s very funny. People such as Jack Black and Sarah Jessica Parker are in it. Try to watch it one rainy day when you want to watch a funny movie!

I would rate it a 4 and a half out of 5 on my movie scale!

Here’s the trailer! :

The Haunting In Connecticut

Rated: PG-13

Horror

This is about a boy who has cancer, so the family move to a house near the hospital, which is in Connecticut. He keeps seeing things in the house they move into, but the doctors just think that it is from the medication and radiation. This horror is a very jumpy movie. The scary things happen right away. Nothing in it is very scary, but since it pops out at you, it’s VERY scary.

It’s a newer movie. I think from 2008 or 2009.

Watch this movie!

I would give it a 4 out of 5 on my movie scale!

Beastly

Rated: PG-13

Beastly is a modern take on Beauty and the Beast. Starring Mary-Kate Olsen, Vanessa Hudgens, and Alex Pettifer.

I really liked this movie! You should watch it. I would give it a 3 and a half on my movie scale!

Case 39 and Resident Evil: Afterlife July 25, 2011

Watched another scary movie last night! It’s called “Case 39.”  I forget if it’s rated PG-13 or R, but if it’s rated R, it shouldn’t be.

It is about a little girl named Lilly. Her parents want her to die, but for a good reason. (I’m not going to tell you!) A child social worker gets her out of the home with her parents. One part I can give away, just because it was pretty funny in a sick kinda way! The parents tried to put her in the oven and cook her! (LOL! They didn’t suceed though)

I would rate it a four and a half out of five on my movie scale!

It is a really good movie! It’s from last year. Here’s the trailer so you can find out more!

I watched the newest Resident Evil two nights ago. I think it’s called Afterlife.

It’s from 2010.

I think it was rated PG-13.

It’s really good!

It’s a little more of an action movie than a horror, but it’s still great!

I would rate it a four on my movie scale!

Here’s the trailer, because it’s hard to explain.

Trailers July 23, 2011

Every time I post a movie review I will put the official trailer in the review so you can see what it’s really about! If you look back at my other posts I added trailers to all of them. I added them to Zookeeper, The New Daughter, The Relic, and Insidious, so make sure you go back to those and give them all a look!

Post comments, I will be waiting!

“Insidious”

Yesterday, I watched “Insidious.” It is a horror film! It is said to be “The scariest movie since Polterguiest.” I might agree! Most scary movies aren’t very scary, but this one is!

Rated: PG-13

It is about a boy who apparently goes in a coma, but really, his spirt has left his body. The parents think the house is haunted, but really, it’s their son.

I can’t give away too much, but watch this preview!

If you have any questions, ask me!

The Relic

Yesterday, I watched “Relic.” It was a pretty good movie! It is from 1997.

One thing I didn’t understand was that it was rated R, but there was absolutely nothing bad in it. I guess it’s just because it’s from 1997.

If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you do! 😀 It’s a monster movie, so it isn’t very scary. At some parts it is a little gory, but you can totally tell it’s basically costume parts, so it’s not gross. I can’t really tell too much about the movie, because it’s hard to explain, and you have to see it to understand it. But, if you want a little preview, click on the link below! (Or copy and paste it)

I would rate this movie a 4 out of 5 stars!

If you have any questions about it, ask me!

2 “OK” Movies July 21, 2011

Hiya everyone! I wanted to let you know of two movies I thought were okay!

1. Zookeeper

Comedy

(PG)

A movie starring Kevin James where he is a zookeeper. He finds out the animals can talk, and much more.

I would give “Zookeeper” 2 and a half stars out of 5 stars.

It was very kidd-ish, so it is very enjoyable for ages 4-9. For any age above that, it is okay. The parents will enjoy the adult humor it has in it.

Here is a preview 0f it!

2. The New Daughter

Horror

(PG-13)

This movie is a little old, but I watched it last night. It is a horror film.

It is about a family that moves to a creepy house, and the daughter starts changing.

It isn’t the best “Horror” film, but it is a pretty good “suspense” movie.

It was not scary (And I’m 11) On a horror scale I would give it a 2 out of 5 stars. On a regular basic “Movie” scale, I would give it 3 stars out of 5.

A good movie if you don’t want to be scared, but if you want to be very frightened I wouldn’t recommend it.

Here is a preview of it!

I am really sorry I didn’t post for a long period of time, but I started to post again! 🙂 😀 😉 YAY! I don’t remember the answers to the riddles that I already posted, so lets forget about the riddles and jokes for a little while. I will post them every now and then, so don’t be sad! Also, I have a post that was only a link. It just said “Go Animate”. If you click on the link, you will go to my first animation that I created! So please do that… Also, I will be posting more recipes every once in a while. I wrote 11 good websites for kids my age, and I wrote a post of TV shows and movies that I think you should check out if you haven’t already. If you want me to do a post about anything specific, PLEASE just leave a comment here because I am running out of ideas!!!
